What should you know about your property's plumbing?

Whether you own a home, manage a business or are planning a building project, understanding how your property’s plumbing system works can help you avoid costly repairs and make better decisions.

Here are a few points worth knowing:

Plumbing problems often have an underlying cause.
A recurring leak, blocked drain or pressure issue should be investigated rather than repeatedly repaired.
Every property is different.
Older homes, new builds, commercial premises and renovation projects can all require different plumbing solutions.
Planning saves time and money.
Good plumbing starts before the first pipe is installed, especially for renovations, extensions and new construction.
Gas fitting and plumbing work must meet current NSW standards.
Using a licensed plumber helps ensure work is completed safely and correctly.
Local knowledge matters.
Understanding the homes, businesses and building projects across Ulladulla, Mollymook, Milton and the surrounding communities helps identify practical solutions that suit the property

This practical approach is how Matthews Plumbing & Gas works with homeowners, builders and businesses throughout the local area; taking the time to understand the problem before recommending the right solution. Licence Number: NSW Licence 466438C

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had Luke out from Mattews Plumbing & Gas in October 2025 to fix an external leaking pipe at my residence located in Sanctuary Point. He was kind, professional and fixed the leak without issues- even though it was a very old plumbing setup, Luke was able to source the materials to ensure it was fixed correctly during the visit.

Highly recommend Matthews Plumbing & Gas for all your plumbing needs.
